We are seeking an experienced Insurance Specialist to join our team at Ducati Motor Holding S.p.A. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the implementation of insurance policies in line with the company's guidelines and in accordance with the needs of the business area.
Main Responsibilities:- Support the collection of data for the preparation of the budget and forecasted insurance costs.
- Collect data for the renewal of annual insurance policies, interacting with internal competent functions, local insurance brokers, and the VW Group.
- Archive insurance contracts, certificates, and relevant legal or insurance documentation, manage administrative activities for correct accounting of costs and recharging to other Group companies when applicable.
- Interact with internal DMH departments and brokers to promptly activate ad-hoc insurance coverage or extensions of ongoing coverage on specific business requests (e.g., events, new contractual requirements, temporary or new warehouse rentals, etc.).
- Provide support in consulting business areas on insurance forecasts and clauses inserted in related contracts, comparing with the legal function and broker.
- Receive notifications of insurance claims from involved areas, providing them with the necessary instructions for collecting documents and information, opening claims with the broker, managing and following up on claims with the same, regularly reporting and updating the Risk Management & Insurance function manager.
- Support the implementation of formalized procedures for main and most relevant insurance management processes and review them periodically to ensure their update.
- Support Ducati Retail S.r.l in implementing insurance coverage, managing potential claims, and interacting with local brokers and VW.
- Law degree or economics and commerce degree; at least 2 years of work experience in the insurance field.
- Knowledge of insurance coverage and forecasts, and different branches of risk insurance.
- Ability to prepare budgets and forecasted insurance costs.
- Knowledge of the English language.
- Orientation to criticism, analysis, and precision.
- Previous experience in a similar role in a multinational company.
