THE ROLE

We're seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Campervan Operations Manager at Indie Campers. As the face of our company, you will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional level of customer service, maintaining our fleet of campervans, and overseeing the smooth operation of our depot.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage incoming reservations, coordinate vehicle check-ins and check-outs, and oversee team activities;
  • Train, supervise, and coach your team to ensure exceptional customer service;
  • Maintain the fleet, logistics, and ensure our campervans are in top condition;
  • Control workforce planning, manage inventory, local suppliers, and cleaning services;
  • Handle complaints, emergencies, and local issues to ensure seamless operations;
  • Assist in reselling campervans, preparing, and showcasing them to prospective buyers.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • You have a passion for travel and customer service, with experience in Tourism, Hospitality, Retail, or Rent-a-car;
  • 1+ years of experience in a team management/lead/supervisory role;
  • You're fluent in English and Italian (mandatory);
  • You're eligible to work in Italy, have a valid driver's license, and feel confident driving a campervan (mandatory);
  • You're available to work on weekends and public holidays;
  • You're a responsible individual who takes their work seriously and can be relied upon.
