Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Antal International. As a Resort General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a 5*L Resort, overseeing all aspects of hotel operations and ensuring seamless execution of services.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Collaborate with executive-level management to develop performance goals and long-term operational plans for Room, F&B, and Event Departments.
- Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration.
- Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity.
- Financial Management
- Work with managers to develop financial and budgetary plans.
- Analyze current operational processes and performance, recommending solutions for improvement when necessary.
- Operational Excellence
- Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals, progress, and obstacles for key initiatives.
- Build and maintain relationships with all department heads, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and strategic goals.
- Performance Management
- Plan, monitor, and analyze key metrics for the day-to-day performance of operations to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Identify and implement process improvements that maximize output and minimize costs.
- Team Management
- Work closely with human resources to lead a team with integrity and establish and maintain a trusting, inclusive, and productive environment.
- Hire and on-board new hotel staff.
- Evaluate staff performance.
- Marketing and Sales
- Plan and organize hotel activities to drive sales.
- Manage and monitor hotel expenses.
- Manage and track hotel inventory.
- Plan and implement marketing campaigns with marketing teams.
- Customer Service
- Build and maintain strong relationships with visitors and clients.
- Ensure safety and adherence to rules and regulations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a General Manager role. Previous experience in an international hotel group is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hotel management, or related field.
- Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
- People manager used to large teams.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting results.
- In-depth knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector.
- Passionate about operations with a hands-on attitude.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve high performance and exceed targets.
- Accountable and resilient.
- Ability to work under pressure.
