Job Summary

The Floor Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping department at AMAN. This position will report to the first and second Housekeeping Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that all policies and procedures outlined in the Departmental Operations Manual are strictly adhered to.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Housekeeping Attendants deliver exceptional guest service and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in all areas of the hotel.
  • Handle all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, following through to ensure that problems are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on the work of Housekeeping Room Attendants to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
  • Ensure that all rooms are clean and complete in a timely manner, and that all public areas, F&B outlets, offices, and toilets are maintained to the highest standards.
  • Report and follow up on repair and maintenance work to ensure that all issues are resolved promptly.
  • Conduct regular checks on public areas, F&B outlets, offices, and toilets to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Ensure that all scheduled periodic works are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that all Housekeeping Room Attendants are punctual and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene, according to the hotel and department's grooming standards.
  • Participate in morning meetings with the hotel management team and report to superiors on any issues that arise.

Requirements

  • Work experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in a large organization.
  • Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
