Position Overview

The role involves the development of software systems tailored for advanced machinery within the Detailed Engineering Department. The candidate will engage in programming and overseeing software modifications and upgrades, focusing on PLCs, control panels, and motion control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement software solutions for fold and napkin machinery.
  • Manage software updates and enhancements, ensuring optimal performance of PLCs and motion control systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive project success.
  • Engage with clients to understand and fulfill their software-related needs.
  • Document and report on software development processes and project milestones.
  • Participate in the commissioning and testing of machinery, both at client sites and remotely as required.
  • Ensure compliance with technical safety standards through the implementation of effective solutions.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficient in PLC programming (preferably Siemens or Rockwell), along with knowledge of LAD, HMI, safety systems, and motion control.
  • Basic familiarity with mechanical and fluidic systems is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in programming with C and Visual Basic.
  • Fluency in both English and Italian.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
