Position Overview

As a Control Systems Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and design of software systems tailored for advanced machinery in the engineering sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and architect software solutions for machinery within the Engineering Division.
  • Oversee and implement software modifications and upgrades, including PLCs, control panels, and motion systems.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure project success.
  • Engage with clients to understand and fulfill their specific needs and expectations.
  • Generate comprehensive reports and documentation regarding software systems and project progress.
  • Participate in the commissioning and testing of machinery, both at client sites and remotely as required.
  • Apply technical safety measures in accordance with industry standards.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of pertinent professional experience.
  • Proficient in PLC programming (preferably Siemens or Rockwell), including LAD, HMI, safety systems, and motion control.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical and fluid systems is advantageous.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C and Visual Basic.
  • Fluent in both English and Italian.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
