About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Room Service Supervisor to join our team at Meliá Hotels International. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our room service department, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the room service team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard and that customer expectations are met.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the highest standards of quality and cleanliness in the room service department, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate the room service team, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
  • Financial Management: Manage the room service budget, ensuring that all expenses are controlled and that revenue targets are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Higher degree and/or university degree, preferably in Hospitality or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 1 year's experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
