Position Overview

As a vital member of the Luxury Group within Marriott International, the Guest Experience Supervisor plays a key role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. This position is integral to the pre-opening team, consisting of dedicated hospitality professionals committed to excellence.

Role Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Front Desk Manager, the Guest Experience Supervisor will oversee both front desk operations and guest service functions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as Duty Manager in the absence of the department manager.
  • Facilitating guest check-ins and check-outs in accordance with established standards.
  • Providing guests with a warm welcome and orientation to the hotel.
  • Managing room assignments and coordinating with housekeeping and engineering departments.
  • Engaging with guests to understand and anticipate their needs.
  • Monitoring and managing guestroom inventory to optimize occupancy.

Guest Engagement

The Guest Experience Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all guests feel recognized and valued. This includes:

  • Communicating guest preferences and special requests to relevant departments.
  • Collaborating with management to enhance guest satisfaction initiatives.
  • Overseeing the completion of departmental tasks to meet quality standards.
  • Handling guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A friendly and approachable demeanor with a focus on teamwork.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and intermediate proficiency in Italian.
  • Previous experience in front office or guest services roles.
