Job Summary

The Finance Country Manager will play a key role in driving financial performance and strategy for the company in the country. This individual will be responsible for leading the finance team, developing and implementing financial plans, and ensuring the effective use of financial resources.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance team to achieve financial targets and build long-term strategic plans
  • Manage and coach the local finance team to achieve defined objectives
  • Plan and organize the finance function of the company, taking into account both group and local requirements
  • Safeguard the company's financial assets and ensure the effective and efficient use of financial resources
  • Identify and provide corrective actions to potentially adverse situations, make recommendations, and present information to allow accurate decision-making
  • Contribute to the definition of macro-objectives and ensure their implementation at the local level
  • Promote and ensure effective collaboration between the finance team and all other company functions
  • Finance management, including accounting and data processing functions for reliable, timely administration and reporting
  • Ensure the implementation and respect of internal procedures to guarantee the safeguarding and optimal use of the company's assets
  • Assist and advise the General Manager in various financial and business-related matters and support the decision-making process with relevant data
  • Effectively communicate financial goals and targets and ensure accountability is assigned to the appropriate functional leader
  • Actively participate in the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process, coordinate with various stakeholders, consolidate and analyze budgets, prepare management reports and presentations
  • Manage financing requirements and optimize cash management in coordination with the Group treasury function
  • Reinforce the effective use of MRP and ERP systems with internal business partners
  • Actively influence the pricing strategies of the company
  • Work closely with other departmental managers to ensure financial strategies are aligned with business objectives

Key Requirements

  • People leadership experience and ability to work with different styles and cultures
  • Experience of working as part of/leading a team that has delivered significant change activity
  • Proven track record in a finance role, with a combination of multinational and local big food industry experience considered a plus
