About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Linesight. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and leading the estimate plan, coordinating estimate development with the project team, and preparing the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the estimate plan, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of estimates.
  • Coordinate estimate development with the project team, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team.
  • Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity, in accordance with organization, project objectives, and guidelines.
  • Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as an Estimator in a construction environment, with increasing levels of scope and responsibility.
  • Demonstrated experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX.
  • Degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
  • RICS, CEP, or CPE chartered or on the path to complete it.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and clients.
