About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market facing Underwriter to join our team in Milano, Italy. As a Market facing Underwriter, you will be responsible for supporting our agents and brokers in the analysis and valuation of risks and the quotation of the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and commercial support to our agents, including visits to clients, technical inspections, and risk analysis.
- Manage requests within your scope of autonomy (authorization).
- Collaborate with the Underwriting team to formulate quotations.
- Evaluate and manage maintenance, reform, and cancellation requests from the management team.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in underwriting in an insurance company, with a focus on property underwriting.
- Technical maturity or engineering degree, with a preference for a Master's degree in Cineass.
- Good knowledge of main IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Good knowledge of the English language.
- Ability to work autonomously, with strong leadership and negotiation skills.
