Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Market facing Underwriter to join our team at Zurich Italia. As a key member of our Underwriting team, you will be responsible for supporting our agents and brokers in the analysis and valuation of risks, as well as providing technical and commercial support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Furnish technical and commercial support to our agents and brokers, including visits to clients, technical inspections, and risk analysis.
  • Manage requests within your scope of autonomy (authorization).
  • Formulate quotations in collaboration with our Underwriting team.
  • Evaluate and manage maintenance, reform, and cancellation requests from our management team.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of experience in underwriting in an insurance company, with a focus on property underwriting.
  • Maturity in technical or engineering fields, with a preference for a Master's degree in Cineass.
  • Good knowledge of main IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Good knowledge of the English language.
  • The role requires systematic presence on the territory (agencies and client companies), daily communication with our Underwriting team, strong organizational autonomy, leadership, and negotiation skills.

Working Conditions:

The main place of work is Milan. Frequent transfers are planned, mainly in the regional and extra-regional area (Piedmont and Veneto).
