About the Role:

Cavotec is a leading cleantech company that designs and delivers connection and electrification solutions to enable the decarbonization of ports and industrial applications. We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team and help us build our ability as a total system provider in the Ports and Maritime industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed commissioning project plans and perform risk analysis to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Manage and coordinate suppliers, contractors, people, and processes to ensure project delivery according to specifications.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Create and track financial overviews of projects, controlling costs and cash flow.
  • Measure project performance and report to management as needed.
  • Perform continuous risk identification and management.
  • Coordinate and allocate internal resources and third-party vendors for project execution.
  • Direct engineering resources to ensure technical solutions are feasible and proper documentation is produced and approved.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Develop and improve processes for project execution.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree required.
  • More than 4 years of experience in project management roles in complex engineering installations of oil & gas, Maritime & Ports, Utilities projects.
  • Excellent client-facing skills.
  • Fluency in English and Italian required.
  • Solid Project Management skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • PMP/PRINCE II certification is a plus.
