Risk Management Consultant in Financial Services

Are you passionate about risk management and financial services? At Prometeia, we are seeking talented individuals to become part of our innovative team, contributing your expertise to enhance our consulting projects.

As a Consultant, you will collaborate with project managers and work alongside specialized teams focused on risk management for both domestic and international financial institutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Evaluate the risk profile of financial intermediaries using Asset & Liability Management techniques.
  • Implement strategies for Liquidity Risk Management.
  • Assist in creating economic and financial forecasts utilizing our proprietary tools for Budgeting and Financial Planning.
  • Help identify relevant KPIs to monitor business performance and risk exposure.
  • Support the assessment of the economic value of banking entities, business units, and individual portfolios using Value Based Management and RAROC methodologies.
  • Contribute to the development of Risk Reporting frameworks.
  • Oversee activities related to the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Recovery Plans, and Stress Testing analyses.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
  • A Master's degree in economics, finance, statistics, or engineering is required.
  • Knowledge of econometrics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with banking financial statements, accounting principles, and risk management regulations (Basel II, Basel III, International Accounting Standards, etc.) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Knowledge of an additional foreign language is a plus.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
WORK LOCATION:

Positions available in Bologna, Milan, and Rome.
