The Role
The Credit Risk Evaluation Team operates within the First Line of Defence framework, focusing on the assessment of new clients seeking our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and align counterparty risk levels with company policies and financial structures.
- Collaborate with business units to define and enhance procedures, ensuring effective risk management and compliance.
- Oversee adherence to regulatory standards during the client evaluation process.
- Develop and implement risk assessment models and methodologies.
- Communicate evaluation results to senior management and stakeholders.
- Classify risk positions in accordance with internal regulations.
- Maintain and improve tools and methods for client onboarding and evaluation.
- Conduct operational controls as per established regulations.
- Foster strong relationships with external parties to gather accurate information for evaluations.
- Support system maintenance and contribute to process efficiency improvements.
Daily Activities
- Evaluate new clients and gather necessary documentation.
- Analyze client financials based on established criteria.
- Assess additional services requested by clients.
- Engage in reporting and back-office activities.
