We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team at Glovo. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing the assortment of products in the Grocery category, from analyzing market trends to negotiating commercial conditions with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Define the assortment strategy and identify opportunities for improvement in listings and margin.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating and securing marketing funds.
- Review contract terms and conditions to ensure they are favorable to the business.
- Oversee pricing and promo strategy.
- Work closely with the Ads team to define and implement marketing campaigns.
- At least 3 years of experience in Retail as a category manager or category buyer.
- Strong negotiation skills and expert understanding of terms, conditions, and contracting techniques.
- Stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to work in a fast-changing, high-growth environment.
- Fluent in English, with additional language skills a plus.
