About the Role
We are seeking a talented Category Manager to join our team at Glovo. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing the assortment of products in the Grocery category, from analyzing market trends to defining listings and negotiating commercial conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the assortment strategy for the Grocery category, identifying opportunities for improvement in listings and margin.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts and securing marketing funds.
- Oversee pricing and promo strategy to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Work closely with the Ads team to define and implement marketing campaigns within the store.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Retail as a category manager or category buyer.
- Strong negotiation skills and expert understanding of terms, conditions, and contracting techniques for managing risk.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to work in a fast-changing, high-growth, and high-performance start-up environment.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
