As a Project Leader Body in our Headquarter at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of your assigned product line, ensuring all targets related to design, engineering, deadlines, costs, and quality are met throughout the entire product life cycle.
About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled professional with a strong background in technical roles, particularly in the body field, or project management experience. Your extensive knowledge of body systems (BIW, exteriors, interiors) and product development will enable you to effectively manage the platform contents and make informed decisions to achieve corporate goals.
Your Responsibilities:- Support the Product Line Chief Technical Engineer in defining technical and product requirements within your area of expertise;
- Accountable for reaching targets on direct costs, investments, and supplier development costs within your technical area;
- Responsible for tracking and managing overall components timing;
- Decide on target deviations within your delegation of authority, escalating to Product Line if necessary;
- Achieve defined body components targets;
- Ensure Product Conformity according to the Compliance Risk Assessment.
To succeed in this role, you must possess a Degree in Engineering and at least 5 years' experience in Automotive. Your technical knowledge and skills in time and cost management, development and production processes, project management, and proficiency in English are essential. Self-confidence, flexibility, teamwork, empathy, interpersonal communication, conflict management, analysis, and problem-solving skills are also crucial for success.
