About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Organizer Specialist to join our dynamic Travel Team at Meeters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning and executing unique travel experiences that meet the high standards of our clients and our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Travel Packages: Create cost-effective travel packages from scratch that meet the needs of our clients and our company's high standards.
  • Travel Arrangements and Supplier Management: Adapt and improve travel arrangements based on feedback from our travelers and tour leaders, while scouting new suppliers and negotiating favorable contracts.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate the best rates with hotels, tour guides, and restaurants, while answering client questions and addressing complaints in a timely manner.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on competitors and provide insights on new product design and pricing.
  • Team Collaboration: Ensure cross-team alignment of information, tools, and processes.
Requirements and Attitude
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in travel, tourism, or an equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in tour operators or the travel industry.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation skills and knowledge of negotiation methods, with strong experience in pricing, scouting suppliers, and new opportunities.
  • Geographical Knowledge and Travel Trends: Strong Italian geographical knowledge and a good understanding of travel trends.
  • Customer Service and Teamwork: Strong customer service skills, ability to multitask, and work irregular hours when required, with a dynamic, proactive, flexible, curious, and committed attitude.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Italian.
  • Additional Skills: Nice to have skills include a wide portfolio of suppliers contacts and good English level both written and spoken.
