Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Amazon Business team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and developing relationships with a wide variety of customers, focusing on their specific requirements to drive their procurement strategy.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing strategic customer and territory planning to drive accurate weekly forecast/reporting on pipeline growth and customer spend adoption.
  • Advising customers on how to optimally leverage Amazon Business feature sets (100+ features) to streamline their procurement processes.
  • Identifying new product development opportunities and collecting customer needs to relay to internal Amazon teams.
  • Maintaining internal expertise/knowledge of market trends, including a comprehensive review of market drivers, cost structures, technical improvements, and competitive landscape.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
  • Experience in sales or related field, particularly in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale purchasing contracts or software agreements.
  • Knowledge of procurement (e.g. contracting practices) and source to pay processes and solutions.
