Job Overview:

Danfoss GmbH is seeking a Product Solutions Strategist to lead the development and management of our Gear Solutions portfolio. This key role combines product lifecycle management, market analysis, and new product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the Gear Solutions segment.
  • Product Strategy: Contribute to the development of the product strategy and define a clear roadmap aligned with market needs.
  • Pricing and Positioning: Support the definition of pricing and positioning strategies for the Gear Solutions portfolio.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle, from launch to discontinuation, to meet market requirements and business objectives.
  • New Product Development: Participate in the new product development process, from ideation to market launch, collaborating closely with R&D and other departments.
  • Product Board Process: Assist in organizing and conducting the Product Board process for new products and product improvements.
  • Sales Training and Support: Provide support and training to the sales team and customers regarding the product portfolio and its benefits.
  • Sales Guidelines and Promotional Strategies: Define sales guidelines and promotional strategies for the products, including strategies for promotion or limited promotion.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Management Engineering, or equivalent, with preferable exposure to courses or subjects related to the hydraulics sector.
  • Experience: At least seven years of experience in similar roles, gained in international and moderately structured environments.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of gear pumps and motors systems, understanding the importance of related components, promoting an integrated and collaborative approach.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in project management, ensuring efficient planning and execution aligned with market needs.
  • Data Analysis: Skills in using data analysis tools to support informed and strategic decision-making.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of adapting to both internal and external contexts while valuing diverse perspectives.
  • Language: Strong knowledge of the English language (written & spoken).

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and generous paid time off.
