Role Overview

We are committed to equal employment opportunities at Willis Towers Watson. As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining existing client relationships and portfolios with accountability for client retention as well as new business development.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to analyze situations and provide basic recommendations to identify solutions for clients. Experience of working with and adhering to processes and systems that support client service delivery is also essential. In addition, intermediate knowledge of data analysis and good presentation skills are required.

This role is based in Florence and comes with an estimated salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day client service, addressing requests and queries from the client, insurers and other third parties, communicating by voice as well as email.
• Understanding the client's business and risk management needs and delivering them through the provision of ongoing service.
• Maintenance of information on the client database.
• Preparation of submissions to present the risk.
• Interpretation and review of quotations, to ensure fit for purpose and meet client demands/needs.
• Presentation of the quotation to the client.
• Preparation of reports as required.
• Completion of summaries of insurance for all interested parties (client / network).
• Attendance at key client meetings.
• Working with clients and insurers to address and resolve issues.
• Liaison with other divisions/offices of WTW to access specialist expertise and provide local servicing where needed.

Requirements

• Educated to degree level.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of insurance in order to deal effectively with client needs.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the client and insurers.
