We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Sales Leader to join our Sales Activation and Transformation team at Microsoft. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and customer success for our Modern Work solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Planning and Execution: Develop and execute sales plans to drive revenue growth and customer adoption of our Modern Work solutions.
- Opportunity Ownership: Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities with senior executives at our customers.
- Pipeline Target Ownership: Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to deliver or exceed sales targets for Modern Work solutions.
- Sales Deal Excellence: Adhere to Microsoft's sales methodologies and best practices to drive sales success.
- Sales Influence Leadership: Articulate and evangelize the value proposition of our Modern Work solutions to Microsoft Sales and Engineering leadership.
Engage with customers to understand their digital transformation journey and identify opportunities to modernize and digitally transform their business. Collaborate with Account and Technical teams to land and close sales opportunities.
Commercial Solution Area (CSA) StrategyInfluence Microsoft's strategic product direction on behalf of customers and market trends or forces. Model customer and partner obsession through customer business outcomes leveraging solution area expertise.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
- Extensive experience in enterprise and cloud solutions sales.
- Deep understanding of account planning, sales process, and organization.
- Demonstrable expertise in key Microsoft technologies focused on Modern Work technologies.
- Track record of identifying and driving new strategic, transformational sales opportunities.
- Experience managing multiple accounts concurrently.
- Background leading cross-functional virtual teams to meet or exceed sales targets and accountabilities.
