Job Title: Executive Housekeeper

The Executive Housekeeper is a key member of the Villa Igiea team, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance throughout the hotel. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and guest care, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Housekeeping Department, ensuring effective guest service delivery and consistently high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Inspect all areas of the hotel, taking corrective measures to meet LQA and RF Standards.
  • Manage linen inventory and guest supplies, ordering supplies as necessary to meet quality standards and hotel business needs.
  • Responsible for selection, development, and performance appraisal of Housekeeping Department staff.
  • Manage staff rota planning and ensure the team is equipped to meet guest needs.
  • Develop a personalized relationship with guests, taking care of their special requests and providing exceptional service.
  • Accountable for all supplies, par-stock, and equipment assigned to the Housekeeping Department.
  • Lead the department to achieve financial, quality, and people objectives.
  • Suggest profit and quality improvement to management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the Housekeeping and Laundry department.
  • Coordinate housekeeping duties with various departments to ensure all guestrooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements:
  • English and Italian knowledge at Intermediate/Advanced level.
  • Professional experience in the same role, preferably at an international level, in Italy.
  • LQA standards awareness.
  • Evidence of self-development through specialized courses, conferences, or workshops.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and hotel management software (e.g. Opera).
