Rolling Stock Performance Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Operability Engineer to join our team at ALSTOM Gruppe. As an Operability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our rolling stock.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze operational needs and develop operability solutions to meet the requirements of our rolling stock.
- Define operability, usability, and maintainability requirements for our rolling stock, taking into account environmental conditions, infrastructure, and user needs.
- Identify gaps in operability analysis and work with project teams to address these gaps and define operational use cases and human interfaces.
- Verify operability analysis outcomes using modeling and simulation tools.
- Collaborate with system engineers to allocate derived requirements to subsystems and provide operability-related support.
- Exchange knowledge with the operability community to stay up-to-date on the latest operability trends and best practices.
- Master of Engineering degree from a reputable university with a minimum of five years of experience in engineering.
- Working experience in system engineering on large-scale projects, including experience with railway operators, maintainers, and manufacturers.
- Knowledge of different product types, including regional trains and main lines.
- Awareness of various railway operability aspects, including operational environment, operational needs, and operability procedures.
- Ability to analyze and understand complex systems engineering cases.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate with external stakeholders.
- Good communication skills in English.
