About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Associate to join our Milan team. As an Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in enhancing our fleet, coordinating our teams in the warehouse and in the field, and providing local support to our riders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, Train, and Develop Team Members: Lead the hiring, training, and development of Mechanics and Fleet Support positions responsible for deploying and retrieving our shared electric vehicles.
  • Warehouse Operations: Build a safe, compliant, and efficient warehouse environment that supplies a fully operational fleet of vehicles for Milan.
  • Process Improvement: Define new processes and best practices to drive operational excellence within the warehouse.
  • Project Management: Partner cross-functionally on operations projects that result in identifying expansion opportunities within your region(s).
  • Performance Monitoring: Define and monitor KPIs that measure the profitability, revenue, and operational performance of your market(s).
  • Customer Support: Provide complaint management and customer incidents investigation support.
  • Government Relations: Partner with the local Government Relations representative to manage key Legal, Regulatory, and Safety issues.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain positive relationships between customers, regulators/city officials, employees, and management.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to drive local initiatives for revenue growth.
About You
  • Language Skills: Fluent verbal and written English and Italian language skills.
  • Work Experience: 1-3 years of professional work experience; ideally 1+ year of experience within an Operations position.
  • Leadership Experience: Experience leading teams or groups preferred.
  • Regional Expertise: Demonstrated expertise with the Milan region and ability to anticipate operational needs and/or challenges within this area.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Grit and an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work in an ambiguous environment.
  • Decision Making: High-energy and sound decision maker with the ability to make data-based decisions with a cost-focused mindset.
  • Data Analysis: Familiarity with Excel and Google Sheets (Tableau and SQL knowledge would be a bonus) with the ability to navigate and draw inference from data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
