About the Role

System Electronics, a Coesia company, is seeking a Technical Sales EMS to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing customer relationships, and providing cost estimation and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates through the analysis of engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
  • Source pricing from suppliers and vendors for components, materials, and services, and evaluate alternatives.
  • Develop relationships with key suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, lead times, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure alignment on technical requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Work closely with sales director and account management teams to develop competitive proposals for customers.
  • Provide customers with solutions that meet their design, assembly, and manufacturing needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key markets and support the sales executive in developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical sales and estimation within the EMS or electronics industry.
  • Good understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, including PCB design, assembly, and testing.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events (5% of the time).
