Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Account Manager for Public Sales in the central region of Italy to elevate our company's performance. This role requires a results-driven individual who is hardworking and motivated to make a significant impact. You will demonstrate tenacity and a growth mindset, consistently finding innovative approaches to achieve your objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital management and administration.
  • Develop and implement account strategies to enhance Sysmex's business within the designated territories.
  • Lead the account team through all pre-sales processes.
  • Meet and exceed sales and profitability targets within assigned accounts.

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee all pre-sales and customer engagement initiatives in alignment with Sysmex's strategic objectives and marketing plans.
  • Be accountable for achieving all sales targets and key commercial metrics at both account and territory levels.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Sysmex solutions, their value propositions, and competitor offerings.
  • Identify and assess key market trends and shifts in purchasing behavior to enhance forecasting accuracy and optimize resource planning.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting, regular sales updates, and effective management of the assigned budget's ROI.
  • Gather insights on market dynamics, competition, and customer evolution to support business planning and refine marketing strategies.
  • Create comprehensive account plans to drive commercial success and foster long-term engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Identify sales opportunities and collaborate with marketing, application, and service teams to develop tailored solutions.
  • Manage the tender process by coordinating all resources involved in preparation and submission.
  • Utilize strategic selling methodologies to identify decision-makers, understand their needs, and articulate the value of Sysmex solutions.
  • Maintain effective internal relationships by engaging with relevant individuals and functions to mobilize resources for commercial success.
  • Track the sales process and activities by keeping updated information in the CRM system, including pipeline progress and follow-up action plans.

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in Medical Sciences or a related field.
  • A qualification in Business Management is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

General Professional Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the IVD industry in sales and marketing roles.

Professional Experience for the Position:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
