Unlock Your Potential as an Analog IC Design Director

Vishay Semiconductor Italiana S.p.A. is seeking a highly skilled Analog IC Design Director to join our team in Northern Italy. As a key member of our IC Design Team, you will be responsible for defining, designing, and bringing to production complex analog & mixed power management ICs that will be at the core of High Performance Computing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop IC architectures for Switching Regulators, DC/DC controllers, Power Stages, Smart Power Switches, and other analog products.
  • Verify design at block-level, IC level, and system level.
  • Specify and design analog & mixed-signal sub-systems.
  • Define schedule and oversee execution in the whole product development cycle.
  • Participate in product and technology roadmap planning and implementation.
  • Lead the team during periodic design reviews.
  • Maintain engineering documents in accordance with quality processes.
  • Track and implement design improvements.
  • Support test-engineering, product engineering, and operations, as well as participate in ATE data reviews, limit reviews, and device yield analysis.

Requirements:

  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering or higher qualification.
  • 20+ years of circuit design experience in Power Mgmt ICs and Switching Regulator ICs.
  • Master of power conversion topologies and underlying concepts.
  • Modeling (system-verilog, verilogams) and generating specifications and validation criteria of DC-DC converter systems and sub-systems.
  • Good understanding of ESD and Latchup robust design.
  • Physical understanding and use experience of CMOS/BiCMOS/BCD Process Technologies as well as of vertical technologies for discrete MOSFETs.
  • Familiarity with packaging technologies and performance implications.
  • Hands-on test and characterization of ICs.
  • Self-motivated, individual contributor with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of working in wide-ranging roles and flexible environments.
  • Proven record of product development from definition to release to production.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
