**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead our team at STERIS. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our plant, ensuring the safe and efficient production of our products.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement effective safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage and develop a team of 20+ staff, providing guidance and support to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior sales managers to drive customer satisfaction and manage existing and new customer relationships.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance business processes and activities, aligning with STERIS' world-class safety objectives and quality management system.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company and legal regulations.
  • Apply STERIS' values, culture, and ethos in managing the business, its customers, and staff.

**Requirements**

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven technical capability.
  • Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to lead by example.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good understanding of the local business market and the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industries.
  • Significant decision-making or problem-solving authority.
