Job Title: Assistant Relationship Manager – Corporate Sector Coverage Italy

As a key member of the Corporate Sector Coverage team at ING WB in Italy, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our corporate clients.

The position involves developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and prospects to position ING as their primary bank. You will identify business opportunities and organize pitches to generate revenue and reinforce ING's market position.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and prospects to position ING as their primary bank.
  • Identifying business opportunities and organizing pitches to generate revenue and reinforce ING's market position.
  • Managing stakeholders, including mandate holders, senior management, and clients, to ensure smooth transactions and processes.
  • Assisting in the creation and maintenance of virtual client teams and contributing to activities with product specialists and local relationship managers abroad.
  • Ensuring client reporting, holding credit, operational, and compliance risks at the highest standards by supporting the completion of KYC processes.

Objectives include:

  • Monitoring client profitability and portfolio KPIs and team objectives.
  • Avoiding underperforming assets by locking in cross-sell opportunities and making careful considerations when presented with lending opportunities.
  • Participating in sector initiatives and improvement projects to contribute to making CSC Italy a better and more efficient organization.

Requirements include:

  • Academic degree or MBA in finance, economics, law, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial role with origination capabilities and deal-making potential.
  • Excellent communication skills in Italian and English.
  • Good product knowledge and interest in learning across various financial products.
  • Experience with corporate clients is an advantage.
  • Ability to give and ask for constructive feedback.
  • Capacity to work effectively and efficiently as a team player.
