Position Overview

Kenvue is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee and enhance the performance of our Maintenance Team. This role is essential in driving both corrective and preventive maintenance strategies to optimize production line efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to maintenance protocols tailored to the unique needs of various Business Units.
  • Oversee the execution of both corrective and preventive maintenance tasks, focusing on continuous improvement to sustain optimal machine performance.
  • Lead and mentor the technical maintenance team to enhance their skills and ensure departmental efficiency.
  • Facilitate the analysis and resolution of intricate issues within the operational domain, collaborating with Process Improvement Engineers.
  • Manage the development and performance evaluation of team members, working closely with production management to establish autonomous line management teams.
  • Coordinate with external contractors to ensure compliance with technical guidelines and safety standards.
  • Develop and track metrics that assess machine reliability and maintainability.
  • Participate in productivity meetings, collaborating with production staff to identify strategies for minimizing unplanned equipment breakdowns.
  • Assist in creating daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules, ensuring timely execution and communication of any deviations.
  • Support spare parts inventory management to optimize stock levels and address obsolescence.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of team skills to identify training and development needs.
  • Guide technical staff in utilizing the CMMS system for efficient work order management.
  • Oversee plant projects from inception to implementation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and investment plans.
  • Monitor workplace safety and health standards, ensuring adherence to environmental and occupational safety protocols.
  • Facilitate ongoing training and knowledge enhancement for team members.
  • Ensure the proper creation and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in alignment with compliance and GMP standards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.

Desired:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in global manufacturing environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication across all organizational levels.
  • Previous experience in resource or project management.
  • Familiarity with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) principles.
  • Experience with Maximo CMMS system.
