Operations Manager

At STERIS, we strive to create a healthier and safer world by providing innovative healthcare and life science solutions. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in Calcinate, Italy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage customer relationships and drive customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Provide leadership to improve business processes and activities, aligning with STERIS' world-class safety objectives and quality management system.
  • Lead a team of 20+ staff, allocating resources and assigning duties to achieve commercial and business objectives.
  • Ensure the business operates within and towards STERIS' corporate vision and global objectives, including LEAN, 5S, Sustainability, and One Team One Goal strategies.
  • Apply STERIS' values, culture, and ethos in managing the business, its customers, and staff.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven technical capability.
Preferred Skills
  • Proven leadership qualities.
  • Acute awareness of safety's importance to the business.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Good understanding of the local business market and the medical device/pharmaceutical industries.
  • Significant decision-making or problem-solving authority.
