About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Helicopter Simulator Technician to join our team in Sesto Calende. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our advanced helicopter simulators.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and resolve complex problems in flight simulation systems
- Collaborate with test engineers and pilots to ensure subsystems are functioning correctly
- Support the integration of data, updates, software, and hardware
- Perform calibration of instruments and switch systems on and off for function testing
- Conduct detailed fault analysis and rectification or repair of faults and components
- Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated systems
- Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and associated systems
- Utilize maintenance management systems to record and track maintenance activities
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on designated simulators
- Perform basic visual alignments and run automatic qualification tests
- Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications
- Perform administrative tasks as required
- Technical degree or 3+ years of experience in an electronic, avionic, or technical field
- Extensive expertise in electrical engineering
- Knowledge of avionics is an asset
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office tools
- Practical, analytical mindset with great troubleshooting skills
- Good knowledge of Italian and English, both written and spoken
- High level of communication and teamwork skills
