About the Role
We are seeking an experienced engineering professional to join our team as a Helicopter Simulator Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, finding, and solving complex problems in flight simulation systems. Your expertise in electrical engineering and avionics will be essential in supporting the integration of data, updates, software, and hardware, as well as performing calibration of instruments and troubleshooting systems.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve complex problems in flight simulation systems
- Support the integration of data, updates, software, and hardware
- Perform calibration of instruments and troubleshooting systems
- Assist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and associated systems
- Utilize maintenance management systems to record and track maintenance activities
- Perform pre-flight and post-flight checks on designated simulators
- Run automatic qualification tests
- Assist with refurbishment and hardware modifications
About You
- You will have a technical degree or 3+ years of experience in an electronic, avionic, or technical field as a technician or in a similar role
- Extensive expertise in electrical engineering
- Knowledge of avionics is an asset
- Computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office tools
- Practical, analytical mindset with great troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
