About the Role

Société Générale is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Supervisor to join our Italian Internal Audit Department in Milan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and conducting audits of our Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS) Business Lines, specifically SGSS S.p.a and SG Milan Branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the management and audit activities of GBIS Business Lines, ensuring compliance with audit methodology and International Standards.
  • Define and oversee the execution of audit missions, ensuring quality of outputs and compliance with audit plans.
  • Manage communication with auditees and communicate with business correspondents and/or Central Teams on proposed audit plans and individual audit missions.
  • Draw up multiannual and annual audit plans for the area and companies entrusted.
  • Participate in the training of auditors, development of methodology and internal audit projects, and share information with team members.
  • Monitor the quality of corrective measures processed and approve their closure.
  • Provide an assessment of the audited areas to senior management and control bodies of the bank and subsidiaries when needed.

Requirements

  • Higher Education.
  • At least 7-8 years of experience in auditing.
  • Banking background is mandatory.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • French as a plus.
  • Very good knowledge of banking and financial market.
  • Familiarity with banking laws, regulations, and professional standard integrity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Independence and objectivity.
  • Assertiveness, critical attitude.
  • Conflict of interest management.
  • Team spirit.
