RINA is seeking an OT Security Engineer to enhance its Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be an expert in operational technology cybersecurity, tasked with delivering consultancy services in this critical field.

Key Responsibilities

The selected individual will be accountable for:
• Providing specialized knowledge in operational technology (OT) security, including conducting Risk Assessments and Gap Analyses, as well as implementing monitoring and protective measures.
• Performing comprehensive cybersecurity evaluations for clients, identifying potential OT security vulnerabilities, and proposing actionable enhancements. Developing strategic plans, roadmaps, and innovative operational frameworks.
• Offering consultancy services aligned with the IEC 62443 standard at various levels.
• Collaborating with internal teams to deliver OT cybersecurity solutions for maritime applications.
• Engaging in Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing to uncover and address weaknesses in OT systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in OT security, with a solid understanding of industry regulations and best practices, particularly IEC 62443.
  • Familiarity with ISA IEC 62443 standards.
  • Knowledge of OT Security architectures, including PLC and SCADA systems.
  • Understanding of networking principles (VLAN, routing, mirror port).
  • Experience in passive protocol analysis.
  • Proficiency in using penetration testing tools such as port and vulnerability scanners.
  • Capability to perform Risk Assessments and Gap Analyses while implementing protective and monitoring strategies.
  • Experience in modeling, simulating, and controlling automation systems.
  • Expertise in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.
  • Strong communication and consultancy skills across various organizational levels.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and clients.
