RINA is actively seeking an OT Security Engineer to enhance its Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division.
Role Overview
The ideal candidate will serve as an expert in operational technology cybersecurity, contributing to the delivery of consultancy services in this critical area.Primary Responsibilities
The selected individual will be tasked with:• Delivering specialized knowledge in operational technology (OT) security, including conducting Risk Assessments and Gap Analyses, as well as implementing effective monitoring and protective measures.
• Performing comprehensive cybersecurity evaluations for clients, pinpointing potential OT security vulnerabilities and suggesting enhancements. Formulating strategies, roadmaps, and innovative operational frameworks.
• Providing consultancy services at various levels, adhering to the IEC 62443 standard.
• Collaborating closely with internal teams to offer OT cybersecurity solutions for maritime applications.
• Engaging in Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Testing initiatives to identify and address weaknesses in OT infrastructures.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
- Proven experience in OT security and familiarity with industry standards and best practices, including IEC 62443.
- Understanding of the ISA IEC 62443 framework.
- Knowledge of OT Security architectures and systems such as PLC and SCADA.
- Acquaintance with networking principles (VLAN, routing, mirror port).
- Experience in passive protocol analysis.
- Proficiency in utilizing penetration testing tools, including port and vulnerability scanners.
- Capability to conduct Risk Assessments, Gap Analyses, and implement protective measures.
- Experience in modeling, simulating, and controlling automation systems.
- Skills in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.
- Strong communication and consultancy abilities across various organizational levels.
- Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach towards internal teams and clients.
Educational Background
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.Core Competencies
