RINA is currently seeking an OT Security Engineer to enhance its operations within the Cyber Security and Management Consulting Division.

Role Overview

RINA Cyber is in search of a specialist in operational technology cybersecurity to contribute to the Cyber Security division as an OT Security Engineer. The individual will play a pivotal role in delivering consultancy services in the cybersecurity domain.

Key Responsibilities

The appointed candidate will be tasked with:
• Delivering expertise in operational technology (OT) security, encompassing Risk Assessment and Gap Analysis, while implementing monitoring and protective measures.
• Executing cybersecurity evaluations and assessments for clients, pinpointing potential OT security vulnerabilities and proposing enhancements. Formulating strategies, roadmaps, and innovative operational models.
• Providing consultancy at various levels in alignment with the IEC 62443 standard.
• Collaborating closely with internal teams to offer OT cybersecurity services across diverse platforms.
• Engaging in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing activities to identify and address weaknesses in OT systems.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in OT security and familiarity with industry regulations and best practices, such as IEC 62443.
  • Understanding of the ISA IEC 62443 standard.
  • Knowledge of OT Security architectures and PLC, SCADA systems.
  • Acquaintance with networking concepts (VLAN, routing, mirror port).
  • Experience in passive protocol analysis.
  • Proficiency in utilizing penetration testing tools, including port scanners and vulnerability scanners.
  • Capability to conduct Risk Assessment, Gap Analysis, and implement protective and monitoring measures.
  • Experience in modeling, simulation, and control of automation systems.
  • Skills in Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing.
  • Exceptional communication and consultancy abilities across various organizational levels.
  • Aptitude for teamwork and collaboration with internal teams and clients.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General
