Technical Sales Manager

The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for supervising all activities in the technical office and pilot line. He/She will coordinate Sales, Design, and Pilot line teams, maintaining relationships with key customers, ensuring that the products meet their needs, negotiating contracts, and implementing the technical solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the team of mechanical designers and pilot line
  • Support in reviewing the budget
  • Coordinate the development plan for contract projects for embossing rolls
  • Interface with customers
  • Collaborate with the R&D team for developing new embossing rolls
  • Propose creative and competitive product development solutions to the Development team
  • Study and develop new methodologies in order to improve embossing rolls
  • Oversee the project to the customer from bidding to order intake
  • Scout for new customers
  • Conduct negotiations
  • Analyze the market and competition
  • Organize and participate in company trade fairs industry events and trade shows

To Succeed in this Role:

  • Degree in Engineering or Industrial Design
  • Proven experience as Technical Manager in an industrial environment
  • Knowledge of mechanical design
  • Fluent spoken and written both English and Italian
  • Able to balance budgets
  • Available to travel all the time requested
  • Able to lead a team
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Goal-oriented and customer-focused
  • Able to work under pressure
