Aviation Technical Training Specialist

As a result of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a dedicated Aviation Technical Training Specialist to become a vital part of our Engineering Training division. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a deep passion for aviation and are enthusiastic about imparting knowledge on a diverse array of aircraft engineering subjects to our personnel, whether they are at the beginning of their careers or seasoned professionals.

The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Delivering comprehensive technical training to engineering personnel, adhering to the highest industry standards, which includes:
    • Conducting both theoretical and practical training as per Part 147 requirements
    • Meeting EASA/UK CAA instructor qualifications
    • Providing specialized training tailored to specific aircraft types
  • Enhancing existing training programs and developing new course content
  • Creating instructional materials such as course outlines, lesson plans, and training aids
  • Staying informed about EASA regulations and ensuring all training procedures are regularly reviewed
  • Utilizing various training delivery methods (classroom, eLearning, Virtual, etc.) to develop and approve training materials
  • Delivering practical training effectively
  • Maintaining and improving training facilities to foster learning at all levels
  • Exhibiting a proactive and hands-on approach
  • Demonstrating strong organizational skills to design and implement effective training programs
  • Communicating clearly, both in writing and verbally, and possessing strong presentation skills

We are looking for an individual with experience in aircraft technical training or aircraft engineering. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, contribute innovative ideas to the training team, and engage openly with a diverse network. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will interact with colleagues from various backgrounds and age groups. Qualifications

  • Possession of a UK/EASA Part 66 License or an Aerospace Engineering degree, or proven experience in aircraft technical training
  • Preferably holding Part 147 Type certificates for Boeing 737 NG, MAX
  • Hands-on experience in aircraft engineering and maintenance
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and procedural reviews
  • A keen attention to detail and the ability to escalate issues to management
  • Strong planning skills and the ability to meet deadlines set by management
  • Proficient in Office 365 and willing to learn new software tools to improve workflows
  • Capable of providing constructive feedback regarding compliance issues
  • Effective communication skills across various platforms (verbal, face-to-face, virtual)
  • Open-mindedness and a willingness to acquire new skills and share innovative ideas
  • A strong work ethic and accountability for timely task completion
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proactive in identifying and addressing solutions with management
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must hold a valid UK/EU passport and be willing to travel as required by the business.
