We are looking for an Interiors Operations Leader to be a part of our dynamic team.
In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Pre-series and Series Analysis for Super Sport Cars.
Your responsibilities will include overseeing and influencing the development of new products from an industrial perspective, specifically focusing on assembly design for interior components. You will actively participate in the proto and pre-series assembly phases, taking charge of analysis and problem resolution related to interior components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and influence product assembly concepts and solutions by collaborating closely with the Research and Development department during the product development phase;
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align assembly and functional requirements with emerging development and modification challenges;
- Analyze pre-series product issues related to interior and water management, initiating and leading problem-solving processes from proto assembly to series, involving Quality, Research and Development, and Industrial Areas, including defining potential backup solutions;
- Engage directly in the proto assembly phase;
- Take an active role in the pre-series assembly phase in production, responsible for resolving issues;
- Collect, report, and follow up on assembly complaints related to interior and water management issues from the virtual phase through proto, pre-series, and series, utilizing dedicated problem-solving systems and leading problem-solving meetings;
- Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Engineering counterparts to define and establish specific assembly tooling;
- Analyze series production and provide support, including active participation in the problem-solving process for series production.
About You:
- A university degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Automotive) or a Technical Degree with substantial experience in a similar technical role;
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in a comparable role within the automotive industry;
- Proficiency in design and CAD;
- Experience in interior analysis (TCA, interpretation of drawings/dimensional reports, RPS concepts, plastic materials, and molding processes);
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian and German is a plus;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent organizational abilities;
- Effective communication skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
