About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Amazon. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading and training a team of up to 100 employees, planning and controlling internal processes, and collaborating with on-site upstream and downstream departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading and training a team of up to 100 employees
  • Planning and controlling internal processes
  • Deriving recommendations for action and specific measures for process improvement based on metrics such as workplace safety, productivity, and quality
  • Collaborating with on-site upstream and downstream departments
  • Participating in overarching projects to optimize customer satisfaction
  • Effective resource and workflow management
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational safety regulations and environmental protection
A Day in the Life

As a Shift Manager, you will work in one of our shifts (early, late, or night) and ensure safety standards at your entire site are your top priority. You will routinely conduct team meetings and provide feedback to your employees and stakeholders. Using data analysis, you will influence the productivity and quality of your site. As an important local team member, you will collaborate with other departments and external stakeholders to ensure we meet our customers' requirements and our own standards.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or nearing completion of a bachelor's program
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English and Italian
  • Relevant experience in conducting data analysis
  • Knowledge of working with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Willingness to work in shifts (early, late, and night shifts)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience communicating with various stakeholders, including colleagues and managers
  • Experience in a logistics environment
