About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our Italian Sales Team at NTT DATA. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of Client Managers and driving the business forward through effective sales strategies and coaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a local sales strategy that aligns with the regional organisational sales plan.
- Define the sales approach and targets for the Client Managers, ensuring they are aligned with the company's overall sales strategy.
- Ensure the implementation and adherence to sales procedures and policies.
- Drive the alignment to the sales and organisational strategies by creating operational plans and identifying areas for continuous improvement in the sales process.
- Engage in account planning and assist the Client Managers in opportunity qualification for large or complex deals.
- Collaborate with the account team to leverage NTT capabilities and create a strong client satisfaction journey.
- Act as a coach and advisor to the Client Managers and Sales Team, assisting them in setting and achieving priority activities.
- Take final responsibility for the update and accuracy of sales systems, sales reports, and sales forecast.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or technology field or equivalent.
- Extended relevant experience in a similar role within the ICT Market (preferably system integration business).
- Strong experience in managing and coaching a sales team.
- Extended experience dealing with clients and engaging with different stakeholders and decision makers.
- Able to work in a multinational environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Proficient in using sales tools such as Salesforce.
- Business acumen.
- Strong capabilities in motivating people and managing complex negotiations.
