About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our Italian Sales Team at NTT DATA. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of Client Managers and driving the business forward through effective sales strategies and coaching.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a local sales strategy that aligns with the regional organisational sales plan.
  • Define the sales approach and targets for the Client Managers, ensuring they are aligned with the company's overall sales strategy.
  • Ensure the implementation and adherence to sales procedures and policies.
  • Drive the alignment to the sales and organisational strategies by creating operational plans and identifying areas for continuous improvement in the sales process.
  • Engage in account planning and assist the Client Managers in opportunity qualification for large or complex deals.
  • Collaborate with the account team to leverage NTT capabilities and create a strong client satisfaction journey.
  • Act as a coach and advisor to the Client Managers and Sales Team, assisting them in setting and achieving priority activities.
  • Take final responsibility for the update and accuracy of sales systems, sales reports, and sales forecast.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in economics or technology field or equivalent.
  • Extended relevant experience in a similar role within the ICT Market (preferably system integration business).
  • Strong experience in managing and coaching a sales team.
  • Extended experience dealing with clients and engaging with different stakeholders and decision makers.
  • Able to work in a multinational environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proficient in using sales tools such as Salesforce.
  • Business acumen.
  • Strong capabilities in motivating people and managing complex negotiations.
