Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at ATS Automation. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance services to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance services to customers at their premises, ensuring prompt and efficient resolution of technical issues.
  • Perform complex equipment maintenance, repair, testing, and calibration with minimal supervision, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Report technical issues and service activities to internal stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Support customer requests and inquiries, providing expert technical guidance and solutions.
Key Qualifications
  • Five years of industrial technical experience with a focus on mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Training in handling service requests over the phone or remotely.
Technical Skills
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery.
  • Ability to interpret and read electrical and mechanical drawings, manufacturer guidelines, and reference manuals.
  • Experience working with suppliers to resolve technical issues at customer sites.
  • Practiced technical competences in electrical and mechanical systems, including validation and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and FUSION company enterprise system.
Relational Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen actively and communicate effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills, using logical and methodical approaches to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Attention to customer needs, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Ability to follow customer plant and safety regulations while on-site.
Language Skills
  • Good to great knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
Experience
  • 2-5 years of experience as a travelling technician or with remote technical service.
