Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Field Service Representative to join our team in North East Italy. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical customer service, ensuring compliance with all aspects of safety, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities- Install and service chemical feed and water treatment equipment at designated locations
- Act as a technical consultant and liaison with customer management and technical counterparts
- Perform water analysis and collect samples for preparation, labelling, and shipment to designated laboratories for analysis
- Work with PLC controls, understand water process treatment design, and repair pumps, instruments, and control panels
- Conduct preventive maintenance and calibrate feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts, and maintain log sheets
- Travel to customer sites and perform preventive maintenance and related services
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, instruments, and control panels. Calibrate feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts, and maintain log sheets. Conduct preventative maintenance on chemical feed pumps, controllers, and instrumentation.
- Work closely with Sales to provide insight into new instrument and new service opportunities as well as upsell service and consumables at existing customer sites based on need
- Optimize system performance
- Drive Value Generation Plan on assigned customer
- Responsible for efficient week planning, service optimization & time spend vs contract
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar
- Possession of driving license required (licence B)
- IT Proficiency
- Fluent in English & Italian
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory, at times requiring overnight stay, as required
- Proven time management and organizational skills to quickly identify and prioritize issues
- Create solutions and meet deadlines
- Ability to exercise independent judgement consistent with department guidelines
- Maintain workflow and anticipate future needs of the team
- Self-motivated, with the ability to drive projects to completion with minimal oversight
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working within a globally diverse team across different time zones
- Effective benefit-oriented presentation skills
- Appreciated previous experience abroad (studies, practical experience, work & travel)
- Passion for our water treatments
