Role Overview

The Lead Pricing Analyst is essential in formulating and executing pricing strategies for the introduction of new offerings, as well as evaluating the overall service portfolio's performance regarding revenue and margins on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Development and Execution of Pricing Strategies:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish pricing strategies for new offerings, taking into account market demand, competitive analysis, and value propositions.
- Create pricing models and frameworks that align with business goals, profitability objectives, and customer value perceptions.
- Set pricing guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure uniformity and effectiveness across various markets and regions.
- Implement pricing tools and systems to support pricing decisions and enhance the pricing workflow.
2. Introduction of New Offerings:
- Spearhead the pricing strategy for the introduction of new offerings, working closely with product development, marketing, and sales teams.
- Conduct market research and analysis to grasp customer needs, preferences, and willingness to pay for new offerings.
- Formulate pricing strategies tailored to diverse customer segments, geographic areas, and market dynamics.
- Partner with stakeholders to define pricing tiers, packaging options, and promotional strategies for new offerings.
3. Performance Evaluation:
- Assess the performance of launched offerings in terms of revenue, profitability, and margins.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pricing, including average selling price, discount levels, and revenue per customer.
- Conduct post-launch evaluations to determine the effectiveness of pricing strategies and identify areas for enhancement.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to optimize pricing, maximize revenue, and enhance profitability.
4. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Work with finance, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment between pricing strategies and business objectives.
- Offer guidance and support to sales teams on pricing negotiations, discount approvals, and deal structuring.
- Collaborate closely with product management to integrate pricing considerations into product development and lifecycle management.
- Communicate pricing decisions, updates, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders. #LI-AC2

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance Management

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in pricing management, revenue management, or related roles, preferably in a global or multi-national organization.
- Proven history of developing and executing pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Experience in analyzing pricing performance and conducting market research to inform pricing decisions.
- Strong understanding of pricing principles, methodologies, and techniques.
- Familiarity with pricing software, tools, and systems (e.g., pricing optimization software, revenue management systems).
