About the Role:

Ryanair is seeking a dedicated Payroll Coordinator to support our extensive payroll operations across Europe.

The ideal candidate will be part of our European payroll team, based in Dublin, where diligence, initiative, and enthusiasm are integral to our success. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to collaborate with a highly skilled payroll team, contributing to the preparation and execution of both in-house and outsourced payroll processes. This position involves managing a complex monthly payroll for employees and crew, demanding exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processes for various EMEA countries.
  • Facilitate system integrations between HR and global payroll platforms, addressing any discrepancies.
  • Update payroll records in relation to salary adjustments for internal movements.
  • Verify the accuracy of information for new hires, including tax and banking details.
  • Prepare monthly payroll-related journal entries.
  • Assist with ongoing expansion projects and ad-hoc reporting as required.
  • Test new setups, system enhancements, and updates impacting Global Payroll.
  • Compile and process spreadsheets for variable payments and deductions.
  • Prepare and bulk load spreadsheets into the payroll system.
  • Support internal controls and procedures, including documentation and testing.
  • Prepare third-party payments and participate in various payroll projects as assigned.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience with SAP and Employee Central Payroll is advantageous.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in advanced Excel.
  • A methodical work approach with a strong emphasis on accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands and work outside regular hours when necessary.

Ideal Candidate:

The successful applicant will have experience in Italian withholding and social insurance calculations, with excellent analytical skills. They should demonstrate a high level of initiative, possess strong interpersonal abilities, and exhibit exceptional communication skills.
