Key Responsibilities:

The Project Discipline Lead will be responsible for overseeing the activities of the discipline within a project, ensuring compliance with the assigned budget and project schedule. This includes managing a team of Static Equipment Engineers and reporting to the Project Engineering Manager for project-specific matters and to the Static Equipment Head of Department for resources and quality of deliverables.

Key Activities:

  • Prepare and discuss the project execution strategy with the Project Team and Static Equipment Head of Department, ensuring its application throughout the project life.
  • Coordinate activities with the Project Engineering Manager and other Project Lead Engineers to create and maintain project procedures, guidelines, and standards.
  • Ensure the coordination of discipline activities, regardless of location or distribution of engineering centers, guaranteeing consistency of documents with the contract, respect of time schedule, implementation of contract requirements, compliance of assigned budget, and quality of deliverables.
  • Interact with Client representatives and Vendors for technical topics impacting the project in terms of time and costs.
  • Provide assistance to the inspection and construction departments as needed.

Departmental Responsibilities:

  • Provide feedback to the Static Equipment Head of Department on problems arising from the application of standard methods and work instructions to improve departmental effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Conduct technical training as needed and exchange experience with colleagues within the Tecnimont Group for new design techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date on technical improvements specific to the discipline.
