Job Title: Plant Operations Manager Italy

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Manager to lead our team in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the network of subcontracted service centers, on-site solutions, and outstores/hubs in Italy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage start-up and ramp-up of new plants, on-site solutions, and outstores.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of projects such as informational technology and engineering, as well as continuous improvement (lean) to support improvement programs in capacity, productivity & cost, quality, and service.
  • Lead, contribute, or support Regional or European SC projects.
  • Negotiate tariff with subcontractor with support from Senior Manager and Cost optimization.
  • Cost control and Budget monitoring in connection with Cost optimization.
  • Analysis and Recommendations for cost optimization in terms of cost drivers and entitlement standards.
  • Manage Stock variances through stock counts and analysis.
  • Define, in conjunction with the Senior Manager, Annual Objectives for his team and individuals, and monitors their achievement.
  • Define a Talent and Development plan, including pipeline and succession planning.
  • Conduct HR interviews and accompany his team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Management, Logistics, or Technical Engineering.
  • Continuous improvement/Lean experience.
  • 5-8 years of management experience in Subcontractor management/Site management.
  • Lead & achieve results in pan-European, multi-site.
  • Negotiations with service provider.
  • Strong experience in Lean.
  • Fluent/native Italian and English.

Preferred Level of Work Experience: 5-7 years.
